PUBS AND RESTAURANTS
There is a huge choice of pubs offering excellent dining within the area,
here are just some of the pubs within easy reach of The Old Cob Barn.

The Cranford Inn, St. Giles in the Wood: A good range of beers and guest ales in a spacious and elegantly furnished farmhouse atmosphere of warmth and character with low beams and an inglenook fireplace. The restaurant provides a charming and intimate setting in which to indulge yourself in generous helpings of English fayre made from local produce.

The Rising Sun, Umberleigh: This traditional 13th Century inn overlooking the River Taw offers you a superb choice of dining. Choose, as you will, from the splendid Table d'Hote menu or, should you prefer, explore the more casual bar menu with additional daily specials.

The Old George, High Bickington: A small country pub in the village of High Bickington.
Here you can be sure of a warm welcome and the food they serve in their small restaurant
is excellent. It is also very reasonably priced. Children welcome.
